THE HEART BEHIND the HOST

About Reneille-Gian

Reneille Teodoro (formerly ‘Velez’) grew up in Tacoma, Washington, raised in a home where Filipino hospitality wasn’t a concept—it was a way of life. Watching her mother host with warmth, generosity, and pride shaped how she now shows up in the world: leading with care, intention, and cultural reverence.

Recently married and grounded in a season of joy and alignment, Reneille is deeply passionate about growth mindset—believing that evolution, self-awareness, and ambition are lifelong practices.

She splits her time between Seattle, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area, drawing inspiration from the creative pulse of each city. A kid at heart, she brings personality into everything she does—equal parts Pokémon references, 2000s R&B energy, and elevated taste—making her experiences feel both deeply personal and undeniably memorable.

The Visionary Building the Brand

As the founder of GIAN, Reneille has built a multi-market luxury event and experience agency trusted by discerning private clients and globally recognized brands. Her work and perspective have been featured in Seattle Magazine, The Seattle Times, The New York Times, Wezoree, Canvas Rebel, Takeout.com, and more—recognition that reflects both her creative voice and industry impact.

Under her leadership, GIAN produces editorial weddings, corporate galas, brand activations, and immersive celebrations with a signature blend of strategy, design, and intentional hospitality. Reneille is deeply committed to representation in luxury spaces, using her platform to open doors, amplify diverse talent, and challenge outdated norms of who gets to lead and be seen. Every experience she creates is rooted in meaning, elevated execution, and the belief that hospitality—when done right—can be transformative.
