Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Reneille Velez has spent her life embracing movement, culture, and the power of beautifully orchestrated experiences. As the founder and creative director of Gian Events, she has built a reputation for producing high-touch weddings, brand activations, and private celebrations that feel effortless, immersive, and unmistakably stylish.

With over 10 years of management experience and a dynamic background in leadership, Reneille brings a rare blend of creative intuition and operational excellence to every production. Her work has been featured in leading publications including BRIDES, The Knot, Over the Moon, and Washington Wedding Day, and she’s earned a loyal following among clients and industry insiders alike for her editorial eye and elevated approach to storytelling.

From modern rooftop soirees in the Bay Area to multi-day wedding weekends in the Pacific Northwest, her events are grounded in intention, designed with sophistication, and always centered around the guest experience. At the heart of her philosophy? Luxury isn’t just visual—it’s a feeling.

A proud Filipina and the eldest of three siblings, Reneille was raised in Tacoma and came of age in Seattle. Now, she splits her time between the Seattle area and the Bay Area, drawing creative inspiration from both regions. She’s currently planning her own wedding—after getting engaged in Paris—which adds an even deeper layer of empathy and artistry to the celebrations she crafts for others.

Reneille has proudly served on the Board of Directors for WIPA Seattle and the Columbia Tower Club, and is passionate about building community within the industry. Whether she’s leading a creative production team, designing an intimate elopement, or mentoring others behind the scenes, Reneille brings a spirit of warmth, collaboration, and quiet confidence to everything she touches.

On weekends, you might catch her flying down the coast with iced coffee in hand—or curled up on a rainy Seattle evening with a movie and her favorite playlist. She believes every celebration should be a reflection of joy, soul, and personal style—and she’s here to make sure yours is unforgettable.
