For Lyamen and Joe’s wedding, that face belonged to the groom himself—a member of the venue for over nineteen years, someone who had walked through those doors more times than he could count across nearly two decades. On his own wedding day, he stopped at the entryway and admitted out loud that he had never seen the space transformed like this. That single moment says more about what GIAN built for this couple than any mood board ever could.
From the very beginning, Lyamen envisioned a true Beauty and the Beast romance brought to life—not as a literal retelling, but through the emotional, romantic core of the tale. She wanted a grand, enchanted space wrapped in warmth, softness, and old-world elegance. Her primary wish was simple yet striking: candles everywhere, on every surface and in every corner, creating a glowing sanctuary that felt intimate, ethereal, and utterly timeless. She wanted her guests to step into a room that felt as though it were glowing entirely from within.
GIAN translated Lyamen's fairytale dream into an immersive design reality. The team layered hundreds of candles throughout the ballroom—from tall crystal candelabras down long, mirror-topped tables to glowing cylinder candles and delicate votives that reflected off every surface. Warm drapery framed the windows beneath massive crystal chandeliers and twinkling overhead lights, while crisp linens, classic cane-back seating, and soft white florals added a layer of refined luxury. Interactive details, such as an elevated champagne display and a custom caviar station, brought a sense of grand hospitality to the enchanted setting.
The Detail Worth Knowing
The most telling detail from the entire day came from Joe’s immediate reaction. Having witnessed countless galas, receptions, and events at this venue over nineteen years, he knew every inch of the architecture. Walking in on his wedding day and feeling as though he had stepped into a completely new, magical realm was the ultimate testament to GIAN’s ability to completely redefine a space.
