What the GIAN Rebrand Really Means
Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Over the past few months, I’ve been getting a lot of the same questions:
“Is GIAN still weddings?”
“Is this a new company?”
“What’s changing?”
The short answer: we’re still us — just more clearly defined.
The longer answer is that this rebrand has been two years in the making. Not a sudden pivot. Not a trendy refresh. More like a quiet evolution that finally caught up with the work we were already doing behind the scenes.
From event company to experience brand
GIAN started in 2017 rooted in weddings and celebrations. That foundation still matters deeply to me. But over time, the work naturally expanded. We began producing brand activations, corporate gatherings, fashion events, influencer experiences, client hospitality, multi-day trips, and highly curated private celebrations. At the same time, more clients were asking us for help with hotel blocks, destination planning, itineraries, and on-the-ground guest experience.
It became clear that we weren’t just planning events anymore.
We were designing experiences.
The rebrand is simply naming that truth out loud.
Why the shift matters
The new GIAN isn’t about becoming bigger. It’s about becoming clearer.
Clearer about what we actually do:
Elevated weddings and celebrations
Corporate events, galas, and executive gatherings
Brand activations and creative experiences
Fashion and sporting events
Client hospitality and VIP experiences
Private dinners and milestone moments
Travel design and concierge-level support
Clearer about how we work:
We’re guest-forward. We care about the details people feel, not just the ones they see. We prioritize thoughtful design, strong logistics, emotional flow, and experiences that feel personal rather than performative.
And clearer about who GIAN is for:
People and brands who value quality over quantity. Intention over trends. Meaning over flash.
The heart of GIAN hasn’t changed
If you’ve worked with me or my team before, you’ll recognize this version of GIAN instantly. My Filipino roots have formed a message and culture in my brain that has not left.. just gotten stronger. Hospitality is major and the world deserves to be taken care of, fully.
We’re still deeply relationship-driven.
Still detail-obsessed.
Still big on hospitality.
Still the ones thinking about the guest experience before the guest even arrives.
The rebrand isn’t about distancing from our roots — it’s about honoring them. A lot of my approach to this work comes from how I grew up: watching my mom host, gathering people, making everyone feel seen and cared for. That DNA is still the backbone of everything we do.
So what does this mean going forward?
It means when you book GIAN, you’re not just hiring an event planner. You’re working with a team that thinks holistically about the entire experience — from the invitation to the lighting, from the hotel check-in to the farewell brunch, from the brand moment to the emotional memory.
It means we’re building something long-term and intentional.
Not louder. Just more aligned.
And honestly, it means I’m really proud of where this has landed.
Thank you to everyone who’s trusted GIAN over the years — clients, collaborators, friends, and partners. This next chapter feels like the most honest version yet.
Best,
Reneille
