  • Event Planner (Los Angeles or Seattle)

    Join Gian Events, a nationally recognized luxury event planning and design firm specializing in high-end weddings, social celebrations, and corporate experiences. We are seeking an experienced Event Planner to join our exclusive team in Los Angeles or Seattle.

    This is a 1099 commissioned position, exclusive to the Gian Events planning team. Light training is provided, along with access to all tools and resources — including Google Suite, Excel templates, client management systems, professional business cards, and our internal project management platforms — to help you successfully grow and manage your book of business under the Gian brand.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing full-scale event planning projects from concept through execution

    • Overseeing client communication and maintaining polished, professional relationships

    • Creating and managing detailed spreadsheets, budgets, and financial tracking tools

    • Coordinating vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management

    • Utilizing project management software to organize tasks, timelines, and deliverables

    • Collaborating closely with the Creative Director and production team to ensure design vision and logistics align seamlessly

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of professional event planning experience, preferably in luxury weddings or corporate events

    • Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, and budget management

    • Proven experience managing multiple projects with precision and attention to detail

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-touch environment

  • Creative Director (Los Angeles or Seattle)

    Gian Events is expanding its luxury creative division and seeking an innovative Creative Director to lead design direction across our signature weddings, social experiences, and brand activations.

    This 1099 commissioned position is exclusive to the Gian Events creative team. You will receive access to our premium creative tools, including Google Suite, Canva Pro, Pinterest, and brand-approved design templates — as well as business cards, warehouse access, and creative resources to help you bring our clients’ visions to life.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Leading overall creative direction and concept development for assigned projects

    • Producing comprehensive design deliverables, including:

      • Full design packets and presentation decks for client approvals

      • Warehouse mock-ups and physical design installations

      • Color palette selections, layout mockups, and vendor collaboration boards

    • Collaborating with the planning and production teams to ensure the creative vision aligns with logistics and budget

    • Overseeing sourcing and styling for decor, rentals, floral, signage, and visual details

    • Maintaining alignment with the Gian Events brand aesthetic — modern, elevated, and guest-forward

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of creative, design, or agency experience, ideally in the event or hospitality industries

    • Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, Canva, and Pinterest

    • Strong understanding of budget management and creative production costs

    • Exceptional eye for style, detail, and composition

    • Confident communicator able to present concepts clearly to both clients and vendors

  • Day-of Coordinator (Los Angeles or Seattle)

    Gian Events is looking for a reliable, poised, and detail-oriented Day-of Coordinator to join our growing luxury event planning team.

    This 1099 commissioned role is designed for individuals passionate about executing flawless event experiences while representing one of the region’s most respected luxury event firms. Coordinators receive light training, branded materials, and access to our internal tools and resources to ensure consistency and professionalism on every event.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Overseeing day-of event logistics and serving as the on-site point of contact

    • Managing vendor arrivals, set-up, and breakdown timelines

    • Leading client communication and coordination on event day

    • Ensuring all design, production, and guest flow details are executed per plan

    • Utilizing Timeline Genius software to manage and follow detailed event schedules

    • Supporting the Gian Events lead planner and creative team throughout the event process

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in wedding or event coordination preferred

    • Familiarity with Timeline Genius or other event scheduling tools

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

    • Calm under pressure with strong client service and communication abilities

    • Professional demeanor, polished presentation, and enthusiasm for luxury events
