In the heart of downtown Seattle, Helen and Tung’s wedding unfolded as a vision of modern romance set within the timeless architecture of the Fairmont Olympic. Their ceremony design transformed the historic ballroom into a serene indoor garden—lined with soft, organic textures and architectural florals. A draped arch framed the grand windows, while an ivory carpeted aisle led guests through lush clusters of calla lilies, hydrangeas, and greenery. The soft flicker of candlelight reflected off the glass panes, balancing the grandness of the room with an air of intimate tranquility.
The reception design carried the same refined modernity, merging classic romance with a contemporary editorial twist. Layers of gathered linen adorned the tables, paired with sculptural arrangements of green and white blooms and clusters of candlelight that created dimension and depth. Gold table lamps and minimalist rentals added a touch of warmth and contrast against the crisp floral palette.
The result was a design that felt polished yet effortless—each element, from the texture of the drape to the shape of the florals, telling a cohesive story of timeless elegance reimagined for the modern couple.
Throughout the evening, thoughtful details brought the celebration to life: guests “rang for Helen” at a custom interactive wall, the couple toasted with a champagne tower adorned in pearls and florals, and the atmosphere radiated the joy and sophistication of their love story.
